Pastor Avery Kinney Leads Perfecting Word Praise Church to It's New Location
Perfecting Word Praise Church moves to Oxon Hill, Maryland. Pastor Avery Kinney is the Senior Pastor of this non-denominational "house of perfecting." This ministry is the perfect church for people who are not. Pastor Kinney speaks words of life and renewed strength to those who have been depleted by life and functioning on fumes.
Oxon Hill, MD, April 16, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Perfecting Word Praise Church stands as a testimony of what God can accomplish with a few good men and women, who know God’s ways and not just his acts. Headed by Christ and under the leadership of Pastor Avery Kinney, Perfecting Word Praise Church was founded in 2000 as More Than Conquerors Ministries and reorganized as Perfecting Word Praise Church in 2006. This ministry closed its doors for 2 years as a result of Pastor Kinney suffering two strokes. This ministry began with one family.
After faithfully serving over 15 years in ministry, which culminated in two and a half years as a Youth Pastor at a local church in Southern Maryland over 10 years in leadership at a mega ministry in Washington, DC, being an itinerant evangelist for 7 years and serving as an interim Pastor at a baptist church in for a struggling congregation with an aging pastor Pastor Kinney heard the call of God to head a non-denominational church known for the perfecting word of God.
"Perfecting Word" as the church is affectionately are standard bearers as they set the tone of excellence, no nonsense and no excuses.
Perfecting Word has experienced much transition as prior to it's current juncture. Sometimes meeting in Pastor Kinney's livingroom for bible study, to worshiping in a school then a community center. They began with worship service at 10am and hand to change their time to 1:30pm.
Through faithfulness in giving and because of the vision of the pastor to operate in excellence and have equipment of no less quality than that of the world, Perfecting Word moved to it's new location at 6444 Bock Road in Oxon Hill, Maryland. Their worship time is 10:00am for Sunday worship service and Wednesday's at 7:30pm for the Perfecting Word Bible Institute.
This new location was nothing short of a miracle and the radical favor of God.
The owner of the property Ms. Angellic Dinkins, the owner of About Real Estate told Pastor Kinney and the leaders of Perfecting Word "many churches have approached me about renting this space for a church service, and I told them no, but the Lord told me to tell Perfecting Word Yes."
