Chautauqua County Holds Tax Foreclosed Real Estate Auction

Mayville, NY, July 15, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Chautauqua County is currently holding an online real estate auction for tax-foreclosed properties. The auction, conducted by Buffalo-based Auctions International, begins Friday, July 17, 2026, at 12:00 PM (EST) and will have a two day closing, Day 1: Cities of Jamestown and Dunkirk will begin to close Thursday, July 30, 2026 starting at 10:00AM. Day 2: All other Towns/Villages will begin to close Friday, July 31, 2026 starting at 10:00AM.

This online-only event features over 300 properties, including residential homes, and vacant lots, available to the highest bidder.

Tax foreclosure auctions like this help Chautauqua County recover unpaid property taxes and return underutilized properties to productive use by generating revenue and stimulating local economic development.
