Best Eggs, LLC and Common Good Launch Two Birds, a Pasture Raised Egg Brand Built to Bring More Meaning to the Grocery Aisle
Denver, CO, September 29, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Walk down the egg aisle, and you’ll find dozens of cartons competing with the same promises — happier hens, better farming and delicious eggs. Best Eggs, LLC (“Best Eggs”) believed there was room for a pasture raised egg brand built around something more: doing good from the very beginning.

That ambition brought Best Eggs together with Common Good to create Two Birds, an egg brand built from the ground up around a powerful promise: One simple purchase. Two meaningful outcomes. Every carton delivers high quality, pasture raised eggs while helping support charity partner Blessings in a Backpack’s mission to provide weekend food for children who may not have reliable access when school isn’t in session. It’s an urgent need: approximately 14.1 million children in the U.S. experience food insecurity, and for many who rely on school meals during the week, the stretch from Friday afternoon to Monday morning can be especially difficult. Blessings in a Backpack works directly with schools and local communities to help fill that gap, sending food home with children so they have meals they can count on through the weekend.

Working as partners, Best Eggs and Common Good brought that vision to life, with Common Good leading strategy, positioning and naming through verbal and visual identity, packaging, website, retail communications and an integrated launch campaign. Together, the teams built a cohesive brand system designed to make one of the grocery store’s most routine purchases an opportunity to do something good.

"We knew from the beginning that we wanted to create more than another pasture raised egg brand,” said Bill Curtis, VP of Innovation at Best Eggs, LLC. “We wanted doing good to be fundamental to what the brand was — not a program or a marketing add-on. Common Good understood that ambition and helped us turn it into a brand where the product, purpose and experience all work together.”

That purpose also gave Two Birds a meaningful point of difference in a crowded category. While egg brands have elevated farming practices across the aisle, those benefits are increasingly communicated in similar ways. Two Birds adds another dimension to the purchase — a carton that nourishes the family around the table while helping support children facing the weekend hunger gap. Through its partnership with Blessings in a Backpack, every Two Birds purchase helps turn an everyday grocery staple into support for children who might otherwise go without.

That idea informed every expression of the brand.

The identity system breaks from the category’s familiar visual cues, replacing rustic nostalgia with bold typography, optimistic color and folk-inspired illustration. The packaging was designed to communicate premium quality and purpose at a glance, while the website extends that story through transparent storytelling around farming practices, impact and the brand’s partnership with Blessings in a Backpack.

The same philosophy shaped the launch campaign, The Egg That Grows the Good.
Rather than simply advertising eggs, Common Good imagined the inside of every Two Birds carton as a world waiting to be discovered. In the campaign’s flagship films, an ordinary carton opens to reveal handcrafted paper landscapes filled with farms, families and neighborhoods—bringing to life the idea that the good that begins with a carton can grow far beyond it. The integrated campaign spans film, social media, retail communications and in-store experiences, creating one connected story from shelf to screen.

“When strategy, design and production all grow from the same idea, the work feels remarkably cohesive,” said Jamie Reedy, Executive Creative Director at Common Good. “For us, the carton wasn’t just packaging — it became the stage where the entire brand could come to life. We wanted people to feel like there was a world of good inside every box, because that’s ultimately what Two Birds is helping create.”
For Common Good, Two Birds represents the kind of opportunity every agency hopes for: helping create a brand with a genuinely meaningful story to tell.

“We often say our job isn’t to help brands tell better stories — it’s to give them better stories to tell,” said Kelly Reedy, CEO of Common Good. “Two Birds is a great example of what that looks like when you have a client with a powerful belief at the center of the business and a partnership that allows you to bring it to life at every level.”
