Microforge.net LLC History First registered in 2000, Microforge.net LLC was founded to further the development of products previously offered by Sound Logic Limited and 2000 saw the release of Microsoft's first software products PC Inventory Manager, Network Inventory Manager and Report Forge - a set of purpose built databases to help network administrators manage small LANS and medium sized networks.

In 2002 Microforge.net LLC augmented these offerings with a new products called Network Auditor which allowed customers to automatically collect information about the hardware and software assets on their network - thus automatically populating and updating inventories that they had previously maintained by hand using Network Inventory Manager.

2 years later, in 2004, Microforge.net LLC released our Enterprise Server 1.0 (ENT Server). ENT Server was a new solution redesigned from the ground up to operate in any windows network environment - be it a small 10 user Windows Workgroup or a multi domain, multi country forest of networks joined via often times slow WAN connections.

Development efforts through 2005 were focused on a series of point releases (with ENT Server 1.3 being the most recent release) that have turned ENT Server into a mature, stable solution at a fraction of the cost of traditional Enterprise Systems Management and IT Helpdesk products.
