Sumatran Tiger Program

Sumatran Tiger Program
Sumatran Tiger Program

Due to poaching and diminishing habitat, less than 500 Sumatran tigers now remain in the wild.

A collaborative effort of the Indonesian Department of Forestry, The Tiger Foundation (Canada) and the Sumatran Tiger Trust (UK) - the Sumatran Tiger Conservation Program has been operational since 1996.

We are a committed group of international & Indonesian conservationists - working hard to ensure the survival of Indonesia's tigers, rainforests and endangered wildlife.

We focus on leveraging opportunities and our limited resources to maximise long-term conservation impact. We believe in accountability and transparency. We seek sustainable, culturally sensitive and economically appropriate solutions to environmental problems.

Survival of tigers is the benchmark against which we measure success.
