On Waves Awarded Fleet Wide Contract with Louis Dreyfus Armateurs and Transmanche Ferries to Provide on Board GSM and Wi-Fi Connectivity
Reykjavik, Iceland, December 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- On Waves Ehf, the leading maritime mobile services provider, announced today that it has been awarded a Fleet wide contract that covers both Louis Dreyfus Lines and Transmanche Ferries.
The agreement covers actual vessels and will include additional vessels in the future. On Waves services will enable voice, SMS, Wi-Fi and Data connectivity in so far uncovered by terrestrial networks areas at open seas.
