Newport, RI, January 14, 2010 --(PR.com
)-- Kristen was born and raised in Portsmouth, RI. After the birth of her second child, she joined a local gym and challenged herself to a 12 week fitness program. The results; she loved the way it changed her life and her body. As she continued in her fitness quest, not only did her children see this was a new way of life, but to her it was life.
From that day forward she was hooked and has been a personal trainer since 2001. Within a short period of time she went on to get her group exercise certification, opening up even more doors than she anticipated. With these new skills, she developed training programs for a group setting. Kristen loved to make people feel good and pushed them to limits they didn’t know they had.
Currently Kristen teaches class at many clubs on Aquidneck Island and works part-time at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in their Fitness Center. Classes such as Zumba, weights (circuit) class, Yoga, stability ball, step aerobics, and Boot Camp are her specialties.
Owner Paul S. Manning of Renaissance Fitness states, "I am proud to be associated with Kristen. She has the experience and knowledge to bring her business forward at Renaissance Fitness. Kristen will be offering group and personal training beginning mid January 2010. Give her a call."
During the spring through the fall months she holds an outdoor fitness Boot Camp class. It’s amazing what one person can do with just body weight.
Delighted to bring her talents to local businesses and schools, Kristen is proud to be a member of the Renaissance Fitness Team.
Kristen acknowledges, “I am excited to bring stimulating and new ideas to Renaissance Fitness and to grow even more in the health and fitness field by helping more people in the journey to fitness.”
