With this move, the App is on schedule for the launch of Buy Me A Drink on the Android Marketplace expected early 2012.
“We started to get a lot of pressure from countries like the UK, Singapore and Australia; my inbox was speaking for itself! We needed to launch worldwide,” said Founder and Chief Party Office Silvana Carpanelli-Hayes.
The App is now available all over the world and depending on location it goes from exploring nightlife around you with Google Places or Yelp. The database is expanding all over; the most popular day to be thirsty with Buy Me A Drink is Thursday nights.
“We love to see people party and meet up on a 'school night,' our check-ins double on Thursday but Saturday’s nightclub activity holds strong. It’s nice to see our members don’t rest much,” Carpanelli-Hayes added.
While BMD HQ is in Singapore, the company also operates from New York City and is now exploring the possibility of establishing a presence in the UK.
