Medimix International Joins The TRUST ALLIANCE – Professional Organization to Enforce Quality Standards in Online Healthcare Data Collection
Florham Park, NJ, June 27, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Medimix International CEO, Henry Gazay, announced that his company has joined The Trust Alliance--an organization of like-minded companies, whose mission is to advance and promote best practices in healthcare data collection and to foster trust in online physician research. Although its members remain competitors, they come together because they are all passionate about providing quality data to their clients.

In the last few years, the cost constraints in the healthcare market research industry have encouraged some of the pharmaceutical companies to consider low cost providers who cannot verify the quality of the data they provide.

“I have worked in this industry more than twenty years, and those of us who believe in maintaining certain ethical standards in our research need to join together and enforce the existing codes of conduct, so that the customers will be assured that the data received has utmost credibility,” commented Henry. “What is the true value of a research project if the data is poorly collected?” he added. “For the same price, a smaller, verifiable sample trumps a larger but doubtful pool of respondents. Quality has a cost, but it is priceless.”

On welcoming Medimix to The Trust Alliance, industry spokesman, Allan Bowditch, commented: "Having worked closely with Henry Gazay's Medimix for the best part of 20 years in a variety of ways, and knowing the high standards and principles that are implemented in their work, it is with great pleasure that Medimix has been accepted as a new member of the Trust Alliance. In addition to pointing out the importance of enhancing the integrity of data collection, I look forward to working closely with Henry and other members to bring forward additional initiatives that will help to further enhance the reputation of The Trust Alliance over the coming months."

All members of The Trust Alliance are CASRO or EphMRA members, adhere to the CASRO Code of Standards, and will liaise with PMRG, PBIRG, and EphMRA to address specific industry concerns. As part of its mission, The Trust Alliance has already established a “Universal blacklist” of potentially fraudulent or bad research respondents and initiated The Quality Report, which standardizes post-fieldwork reporting.

Medimix International joins All Global, M3, and Medefield in promising to focus on:
· Proactively monitoring/protecting against fraudulent responders by cross-referencing with government or association list verification, ISO 26362 certification, phone verification, or 3rd party verification.
· Ensure transparency in the data collection process
· Ensure data integrity
· Quality of responses – encouraging physicians to provide thoughtful views and responses
