Fundraiser concert will serve up live music and a raffle to raise money for 9/11 non-profit Tuesday’s Children.

New York Hard Core Show to Raise Money for Families of 9/11 Victims
Brooklyn, NY, August 25, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Brooklyn live music venue The Trash Bar will host a benefit concert on Friday, September 14th to raise money for Tuesday’s Children, a non-profit organization serving the families of victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

Organized by Candy Apple Red Productions, the benefit concert will feature live music by New York bands After Chidori, Yo Scunt, Olde York, Straphangers, and Providence band Reason to Fight. There will also be a raffle with prizes ranging from dirt from the original Yankee Stadium to concert tickets and memorabilia from local and international bands including The Bouncing Souls, The Street Dogs, Frank Turner and Teenage Bottlerocket; to packages from Capital Records and gift certificates from local Brooklyn businesses.

The Trash Bar is located in Brooklyn at 256 Grand Street. Doors will open at 7pm for an hour of open bar courtesy of Pabst Blue Ribbon and The Trash Bar with a cover charge of $11. The female fronted NYHC band the Straphangers will go on at 8pm. Once they knock you dead they will bring you back to life with, Olde York at 9:00pm, Reason to Fight at 10pm followed by Yo Scunt at 11:00pm and After Chidori at midnight. The raffle will take place at approximately 10: 45pm and tickets will be sold for $2 each. All proceeds from the raffle and door will go to Tuesday’s Children.
