iKare Announces the Addition of Laura Guluzzy to FamilyLink Team

Ashburn, VA, October 24, 2012 --(PR.com)-- iKare Corporation is pleased to announce that Gerontologist, Laura Guluzzy of the San Francisco Bay Area has joined the company as Community Outreach Director for its FamilyLink division. Ms. Guluzzy has a background in Aging industries in both public and private sectors. She was published in the 2012 San Francisco State Graduate Studies Research and Creative Works Showcase, "Senior Coastsiders-A Model Senior Center" and awarded a scholarship from 60 Plus. She graduated from Notre Dame De Namur University receiving a BS in Human Services with concentrations in Counseling and Administration, and a minor in Psychology. She has served in Senior Services for the City of Belmont, California, and was a Marketing Director in Kona, Hawaii, for a retirement community with 3-levels of care. Her interest in aging peaked when she was caregiver to her grandmother seeing her through the journey of Alzheimer's and Congestive Heart Failure. She developed an Intergenerational Communication program for undergraduate and high school levels. In Laura’s words, “I am thrilled to be joining the iKare team. I believe FamilyLink has those qualifications to keep seniors socially connected with an easy to use activity monitoring device that allows for aging in place with dignity and respect while easing family worry.”
