About Rene H. Holden
Ms. Holden has over 25 years’ experience and over 8 years with the current organization in the field of government space science. She is an Office Automation Assistant with the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center and works at the National Space Science and Technology Center (NSSTC) in Huntsville, Alabama. The NSSTC is a collaborative, research and education consortium specializing in advancing earth science, space science, material science, biotechnology, propulsion, advanced optics and information technology. Ms. Holden specializes in the coordination of the clearance/release process for scientific and technical documentation such as presentations, papers, and articles that are prepared by various NSSTC scientists. Ms. Holden generates monthly publication activity reports for NSSTC managers and also helps coordinate local workshops. She was born in Florence, Alabama and received a B.S. in Fashion Merchandising from Auburn University in 1981, a B.S. in Vocational Home Economics from Mississippi University for Women in 1984 and a B.S. in Business Administration/Procurement from Athens University in 1997. In her spare time she enjoys travel, reading, photography, water sports, public speaking, and providing a loving home for shelter dogs.
