Best Vacuums Under $100: New List Published
Seattle, WA, March 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Finding a budget vacuum cleaner that does the job is no easy task. Most manufacturers claim that their vacuums provide the best bang for the buck, but the sad truth is that most inexpensive machines perform rather poorly. There is hope though, and one review website publishes a list of economical yet capable vacuum cleaners.

Vacuum Cleaner Advisor (vacuum-cleaner-advisor.com) provides an annual report on the best vacuums for less than $100 and they have just released their 2013 list. The group has been reviewing and rating machines since 2007 and they publish many top vacuum lists which help take the stress out of finding the right machine at the right price. This year’s list of economical vacuums includes uprights, canisters and stick vacs from a range of manufacturers.

The best upright vacuums under $100 include the Hoover U5140900 Tempo Widepath, the Dirt Devil Dynamite and the Bissell Rewind PowerHelix 84G9. The Bissell is usually the most expensive of the three and it is a bagless vacuum with HEPA filtration, a retractable power cord, an air driven turbo brush for cleaning stairs, and a 3-year limited warranty. The Hoover U5140900 has been around for years and is very popular while the Dirt Devil Dynamite gets good ratings from owners despite its very low price point – it can sometimes be found for as low as $50.00.

Three canister vacuums made the list this year including two machines from Eureka and one from Bissell. The Eureka 3670G Boss and the 3684F Pet Lover are both small, versatile vacuums with few bells and whistles, but they are powerful, light and very good on bare floors. The Bissell 10M2 is aesthetically quite different from the Eureka machines but it is similarly compact, light and effective on bare floors.

The list also contains two stick vacuums. The SH20030 is manufactured by Hoover and the Quick-Up 96JZ by Eureka. Both vacuums get very good reviews from consumers and are lightweight and designed for quick pickups, but the SH20030 is a corded vacuum while the smaller 96JZ is cordless.
