Portland, OR, March 18, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Community gardening blog TogetherFarm was selected to participate in TEDx ConcordiaUPortland’s March 23rd, 2013 event.
“We are very excited to lead an action break at TEDx ConcordiaUPortland,” says Matt Stormont, Co-Founder of TogetherFarm. “It allows us to continue the conversations started by speakers such as slow food advocate Tyler Jones and health food entrepreneur Bibi McGill. This event ties in well with our mission to promote the availability of fresh, seasonal organic produce through backyard gardening while building local community.”
TogetherFarm provides information about a number of food and gardening topics at their website, www.togetherfarm.com
TogetherFarm exists to create and promote opportunities and products for communities to grow, share and donate produce through sustainable backyard gardening and farming. The group consists of a small but expanding group of passionate gardeners that share a common belief that individual communities working together can gain access to a variety of fresh, seasonal produce while keeping costs down.
