GreenSoft Releases Conflict Minerals Module for GreenData Manager Software

GreenData Manager software now generates and manages EICC-GeSI forms.

Pasadena, CA, December 04, 2013 --(PR.com)-- GreenSoft Technology, Inc., a leading provider of environmental compliance data services and software, has released a new Conflict Minerals Module for its GreenData Manager (GDM) software that manages a company’s Conflict Minerals data and generates EICC-GeSI reports. The Module is installed in GreenData Manager software.

Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act requires publicly-traded companies in the U.S. to disclose annually whether tin, tantalum, tungsten or gold in their products originated in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries and if “Conflict Minerals are necessary to the functionality or production of a product manufactured.” Even companies not publicly traded are often requested by their customers to comply. The EICC-GeSI form is the commonly accepted format to report potential Conflict Mineral content in a company’s product at the company, division or product level.

“GreenSoft’s data collection ability and the Conflict Minerals Module in GreenData Manager software provides a powerful combination for our customers,” says Larry Yen, GreenSoft’s president. “Installing the Module into GreenData Manager software gives them the ability to manage, aggregate and create the EICC-GeSI forms they need to demonstrate the due diligence necessary for Conflict Minerals compliance.”

The Conflict Minerals Module enables users to:

· Import EICC-GeSI forms (2.0 and above). GreenSoft will collect and validate this data if users prefer.
· Create a high-level completion summary at the company, group or product (BOM) level.
· Aggregate EICC-GeSI forms to create a company-level or product-level EICC-GeSI form.
· Generate a Grand Report to send to customers that shows compliance status for all parts or BOMs with links to associated EICC-GeSI forms.

GreenSoft’s GreenData Manager software is available in a single Desktop Edition, a multi-seat Workgroup Edition, and a new Browser Edition.
