About Thelma Allen Stich, PH.D., R.N.
Dr. Stich has over 33 years experience in the field of nursing education. She is the President and Owner of Student Nurse Coach LLC in Staten Island, New York which tutors and prepares nurses for the healthcare field. She founded the company in June 2007 almost seven years ago. Dr. Stich is responsible for web content and overall operations including advertising and billing. She trains and educates nurses at all educational levels and ensures that RN’s and LPN’s are prepared for a variety of tests. She also works with students individually and in small group settings. Dr. Stich is experienced in nursing research, medical/surgical nursing, community health, legal consulting, homecare nursing, substance abuse, end-of-life care, diabetes education, hypertension and cardiovascular disease education. She previously served as a nurse educator for 10 years. She is affiliated with Sigma Theta Tau International and A.S.L.N.C. Dr. Stich was born in Brooklyn, New York. She obtained a B.S.N. from Hunter College-Bellevue School of Nursing in 1980, a M.S.N. from Wagner College in 1990 and a Ph.D. from Rutgers University in 2001. In her spare time she enjoys playing with her dogs, reading and movies.
