Kelly Derrickson to Headline at El Paseo Concert Series

Palm Springs, CA, February 27, 2014 --(PR.com)-- With her premier album "Warriors of Love" currently storming the charts in Europe, Country Rock recording artist Kelly Derrickson will be making her US performance debut on Saturday March 1st in California where she will be the headliner at the El Paseo concert series in Palm Desert benefiting Angel View Charity. Her 'live' concert will feature her most popular songs from her album as well as some surprises. "I am so excited to be representing, Angel View and being able to raise money for this great organization," Derrickson said recently while rehearsing with an all star band she has assembled from the Coachella Valley for Saturday's performance that includes local musicians Bobby Furgo, Keith Otterbeck, Martin Burerra, Patrick Mitchem and Guinevere King. Kelly's Native American roots can certainly be distinguished when listening to the albums' title track, Warriors of Love and Idle No More.

In addition to her busy schedule Kelly has formed a brand new charity to help victims affected by car accidents with people who were texting while driving - Stashitb4ucrashit. Her organization is currently planning some substantial events to raise money for these victims and is already being supported by numerous celebrities from the world of television, fashion and music including Dancing With The Stars Pros- Sharna Burgess, Sasha Farber, Emma Slater, Seinfeld star, John O’Hurley and Adrienne Janic.
