Gifford, IL, June 04, 2014 --(PR.com)-- About Angie Cox

Angie Cox and her twin brother were born in a London prison to drug addicts and adopted by a woman who abused and neglected them. Her book, “Surviving the Devil: An Account of Adoption and Abuse”, is an account of their childhood and the failure of child protective agencies to protect them. Angie’s goal is to bring awareness to child abuse by telling her story. After escaping her childhood, Angie went on to earn a B.S. in Business and Finance at Brunel University and the Bournemouth & Poole College. She is currently working on her new book entitled “Life After Abuse”. Her leisure time is spent promoting child abuse awareness and prevention as well as animal abuse prevention, cooking, reading, and gardening.
