Dallas-based award-winning architect and eco-preneur Gary Gene Olp, FAIA, LEED AP B D + C was inducted into the distinguished AIA College of Fellows in Chicago in late June. “Creating beautiful, functional, inspiring environments that elicit a vital living experience, for client and occupant alike, is our job,” said Gary Gene Olp, FAIA of GGO Architects. “We all seek to live a life full of purpose and meaning. My Architecture enlivens the daily living experience by facilitating an awareness of the immediacy of the moment. Our work is connected to the natural world: bathed in daylight, built with a priority of health, fostering the peace of mind that comes with energy efficiency, functionality, repose, and resilience. Most importantly—people love living, learning, and working in my buildings, deeply feeling that the environments reflect their own personalities, cultures, and their desire to belong to place.”
