Free Wheelchair Mission's Gift Challenge Exceeds 10,000 Wheelchair Goal
Irvine, CA, November 25, 2014 --(PR.com)-- Free Wheelchair Mission is an Irvine, CA-based nonprofit that provides the transforming gift of mobility to people with disabilities living in impoverished areas in developing nations. FWM is proud to announce that through the generosity of their donors the x2 Gift Challenge campaign funded 16,000 wheelchairs, exceeding their goal of 10,000.

The "TIMES TWO" gift challenge is an annual match campaign which runs from September 1st to October 31st. Every dollar given during the campaign is matched by an anonymous group of supporters. Due to its popularity throughout the nation, this year the campaign was extended to November 14th. From Uganda to Uzbekistan, form the Philippines to Peru, 16,000 families will receive the dignity and happiness which comes with their newfound mobility.

“The campaign was an overwhelming success; from the generosity of our supporters who participated in the campaign, to the ‘challengers’ who gave the funds to multiply each donation. Our organization has been blessed beyond measure,” says Executive Director, Reed Hartley.
