New Online Training Courses for Radiologic Technologists and Biomedical Engineers

New Online Training Courses for Radiologic Technologists and Biomedical Engineers
Holt, MI, May 20, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Block Imaging announced today the launch of new online training course website for biomeds, radiology technologists, and service engineers. The site is designed to be a growing library of courses that help medical personnel expand their skills and help employers meet OSHA compliance standards. Courses are accessible online and delivered in concise video segments followed by online testing and certification.

The first course, already available for purchase, is Radiation Safety Training 101, a tutorial in best practices to protect personnel from exposure to harmful radiation levels. Additional courses are under development and will become available periodically. Some upcoming examples include:

Bloodborne Pathogens Safety
Bone Densitometer Installation
OEC 9800 C-Arm Service

Trish Payne, Block Imaging’s Training and Technical Development Manager, commented on the site launch saying, “For people to have access to this training anywhere and be able to complete it at their own pace will be a significant time saver for employees and employers alike. Calling a full staff meeting to try and renew a whole company’s bloodborne pathogen or radiation safety certifications in a single lunch hour will be a thing of the past.”

The training homepage can be found at training.blockimaging.com. Visitors can also sign up for advance notification of new course launches.
