)-- Setlog® (http://www.setlog.com), a global leader in supply chain management and value chain collaboration solutions, announces the appointment of two key executives at its North American headquarters in New York. Fashion technology visionary Darioush Nikpour will lead the regional charge in the newly created role of Chief Commercial Officer. Art Krulish, veteran operations and IT executive, will serve as Director of Customer Success. The strategic moves come in response to fast-expanding demand among fashion and consumer goods retailers and brands for the company’s cloud-based OSCA® ‘smart-connective’ platform.
According to Setlog Corp. Chief Executive Officer Ralf Duester, “After building a market leadership position in Europe, Setlog is now gaining significant traction in the U.S. market. The appointment of these two industry veterans represents a strategic advancement in our commercial and support capabilities for this important and dynamic market. We are pleased to welcome the extensive experience and talent that both Darioush and Art bring to our organization and look forward to accelerated growth and continued customer success in the region.”
Darioush Nikpour is most recognized as the co-founder of Yunique Solutions Inc. where for 8 years he led the startup and commercial success of the pioneering PLM solution for the retail and fashion industry. For 4 years following the acquisition, Mr. Nikpour directed PLM software business development, professional services and product management for Gerber Technology. He most recently served as EVP of Business Development for 3D fashion design and development software provider Browzwear Solutions.
Ark Krulish served for more than 20 years in CIO and other executive roles for Burberry, Calvin Klein Jeanswear, Liz Claiborne, Salant and other major fashion retailers and brands. He also held operations and business development positions with ERP vendor RLM Apparel Software and Business Intelligence provider SkyIT Group. After serving as a Senior Manager for Capgemini Consulting, Art founded and managed the ARTK Consulting firm over the past 7 years.
“After reviewing the Setlog technology and customer successes from across the globe, I am pleased to offer a solution that will not only enhance a company’s current technology capability, but also enable a transformational culture to innovate newer business models based on collaboration, shared values, supply chain flexibility and social impact. I look forward to partnering with North American retailers, brands and their supplier community to achieve the greater agility, speed and transparency this amazing platform and team has to offer,” explained Nikpour.
Krulish added, “A key advantage of the OSCA platform is its ability to connect with ERP, PLM, supply chain, logistics, and other systems already in use across the extended supply chain. This smart-connective approach gives retailers and brands the ability to gain complete supply chain agility, visibility and compliance in a single, easy to use platform. I am excited with the opportunity to help companies benefit from this impressive solution.”
