Eileen Connor Finnegan, RN, MS, APN has over 30 years experience in the healthcare field. She is currently contracted with Favorite Staffing and works as Occupational Health Nurse at Ballys, Caesars, and Harrahs Casinos in Atlantic City NJ. She operates the clinic which is owned by Onsite Innovations. As a Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Finnegan has practiced in internal medicine, acute and long term rehab, solid organ transplant, trauma, bone marrow transplant, pain management, cardiology and primary care. She is affiliated with the N.J.S.N.A., the C.C.R.N. and the A.N.T.C.

Ms. Finnegan held CCRN certification for 20 years. She has been an educator in graduate and undergraduate nursing programs in NJ and Philadelphia. She was also a co-coordinator for a second year medical school class entitled “Clinical Skills and Physical Diagnosis” at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ. She has developed curriculum and course content and has designed metrics to assess written test viability. Ms. Finnegan authored 2 chapters in the latest edition of the Core Curriculum for Critical Care for AACN.

Ms. Finnegan obtained a M.S. in Adult Practitioner Nursing from Rutgers University in 1997 and she is licensed in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida. She continues her studies with a focus on forensics and ethics and continues to work on her book exploring various viewpoints on nurses around the world.

Ms. Finnegan has developed and provided many community oriented programs to empower women who are homeless and trying to get back on their feet, teaching them strategies to protect themselves and their children. She has also been a speaker for the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association. She is a strong advocate for organ donation and bone marrow donation. In addition, Ms. Finnegan has provided grief counseling. In her spare time, she enjoys family activities, reading and writing.
