Tampa Company Buys 38.5 Acres for 216-Unit Apartment Complex in Bradenton, FL
Sarasota, FL, September 14, 2016 --(PR.com)-- A Tampa company has paid $2.7 million for a 38.5-acre tract where it plans to build an apartment complex.

Park 30 Partners LLC intends to build 216 apartments on the property on 33rd Street East, near State Road 70 and U.S. 301 in Manatee County.

The project, known as Preserve at Walden Lake, has been in the works for several years.

Manatee officials approved a site plan in 2012 and a revised plan in 2014 that included a clubhouse, gym and garages.

"This project is a good addition to the area for apartments with close proximity to shopping and transportation," said Dennis Kotaska, one of the RE/MAX Alliance Group agents who represented seller Royal Palm LLC.

The property is near a Sam's Club, Walmart and other retail outlets.

Park 30 Partners is affiliated with companies tied to Starboard Tack LLC, a Sarasota company managed by Brian MCarthy. He and Alan Forrester of Opportunity Real Estate LLC handled the buyer side of the deal.

Royal Palm, from Boca Raton, bought the land in 2006 for $1.2 million, according to county records.

Terri Kotaska and Erick Shumway of RE/MAX Alliance also represented the seller.
