The Medical Center of Aurora Names New Chief Operating Officer

HCA/HealthONE’s The Medical Center of Aurora (TMCA) and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital announced Mark Deno, MBA, FACHE, has been named Chief Operating Officer overseeing TMCA, Centennial Medical Plaza and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital. His new role is effective immediately.

Aurora, CO, June 15, 2017 --(PR.com)-- HCA/HealthONE’s The Medical Center of Aurora (TMCA) and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital announced Mark Deno, MBA, FACHE, has been named Chief Operating Officer overseeing TMCA, Centennial Medical Plaza and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital. His new role is effective immediately.

Mr. Deno has been serving as Chief Administrative Officer of TMCA and Spalding since January 2017. Prior to this he had served as Chief Executive Officer at Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital since 2014 and was the Market Lead overseeing rehabilitation services for HealthONE facilities in the Denver market. He moved to Colorado from Texas where he served as Chief Executive Officer of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Arlington, an 85 bed inpatient rehabilitation facility.

Mr. Deno received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Colorado Technical University and a Masters of Business Administration from American Intercontinental University. He began his career in health administration overseeing surgery centers in Colorado and Texas.

At TMCA, Mr. Deno will oversee the integrated operations of The Medical Center of Aurora and Spalding Rehabilitation Hospital and will have executive oversight of Case Management, Pharmacy, Lab, Rehab Services and Orthopedic Services.
