Homeland Security Foundation of America (HSFA) will be conducting a live remote at the Riverside EpiCenter in Austell Georgia to benefit victims of Hurricane Florence in North Carolina.

Atlanta, GA, October 03, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Today, the Homeland Security Foundation of America (HSFA) announced it will conduct a hurricane disaster relief drive tomorrow, Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 10am to 7pm at the Riverside EpiCenter in Austell, Georgia as a part of its ongoing Aware Public Safety Campaign. Organization officials say Atlanta’s V-103 and WAOK 1380 radio stations will be onsite, broadcasting live for the entire event.

“Public safety is our principle area of operations, and disaster relief is an important part of our mission,” said Eric Brown, President, HSFA. “We’re fortunate to have support from the Riverside EpiCenter in Austell and a commitment from Pastor Bryant and Bishop Farrow on the ground in North Carolina to distribute the donations we receive. We’re very thankful V-103 and WAOK has partnered with us for community outreach. Working together we can provide much needed help to families in some of the hardest hit areas in North Carolina. I’d also like to thank Rob Wilson for his passion and efforts to help make this disaster relief drive come to fruition. We need heroes like Rob in every congressional district."

HSFA is asking metro Atlanta area residents to bring nonperishable items to the EpiCenter, including but not limited to toiletries, diapers and related baby items, gift cards so families can buy bottled water, new underwear, socks and blankets, canned goods, first aid items and cleaning supplies. The organization reports it will deliver all donated items to the Biblical House of God in New Bern, the Alliance Holy Church of God in Christ Jesus in Pamlico County, and two more distribution centers in North Carolina the week following the drive at the EpiCenter.
