3touch today unveiled plans for the staged release of its next generation of services which will focus more on Software as a Service (SaaS) and consists of a number of modular online solutions. These solutions are tailored for ease of use and at the end-users and will advance the companies vision of the provision of a one stop solution for all Audio Visual (AV) requirements.This system will tie into the existing 3touch product suite and allow seamless integration to all AV requirements.

Athlone, Ireland, May 24, 2008 --(PR.com)-- 3touch today unveiled plans for the staged release of its next generation of services which will focus more on Software as a Service (SaaS) and consists of a number of modular online solutions. Commenting on the latest features, Eamonn Roarke, Founder of 3touch noted that, “3touch is entering a very exciting phase of evolution that would see an additional 10 modules added to the system over the next 12 month. These solutions are tailored for ease of use and at the end-users and will advance the companies vision of the provision of a one stop solution for all Audio Visual (AV) requirements.”

This system will tie into the existing 3touch product suite and allow seamless integration to all your AV requirements. This process will see the current www.3touch.com website being completely revamped to include these new products, but will also see the Launch of the new my3touch Portal which will allow users secure access to various areas of the product Portfolio. This site will be directly accessible from www.my3touch.com. In terms of security, 3touch will deploy the latest security features which will include two factor authentication, which is common in online banking.

The first of the features to be released will be focused at the professional presenters and sales people and give them the ability to setup individual my3touch accounts online, this will allow them to store any file type online which will enable access to any type of sales presentation and or marketing material and make them accessible globally. A unique feature of the offering will be a two-way asynchronous client which will automatically synchronise files maintained under the users my3touch folder on their laptop up to the online system and the reverse. Users will be able to use the award winning 3touch Personal software client and unique User Interface to display the files to their audience. An upgrade path will also allow users to use 3touch Freedom which allows annotation over any files on the fly and to save and sync the amended file back to my3touch online folder automatically. Access to online repositories such as Google docs will also become a feature of this system.

Feature number two is focused at meeting planners and event organisers who are constantly faced with ever changing presentations. The system will allow an event organiser to create a conference online and to invite Presenters to Upload or Share the files they want to use at the conference. If the presenter has an account already they will simply choose to share the files with the conference. Each conference will have a unique ID and password and on the day of the conference the event planner will launch 3touch Conference Q software, input the conference ID and Password and the files will automatically be synced and available to display. Only the administrator will have access to the conferences. 3touch Conference Q software will also give the user the ability to annotate over any file type. Presenters can always be assured of having the latest presentation available because the sync client will always upload / download the files to the system ensuring that last minute changes are always on hand.

For our corporate users who have 3touch Enterprise installed in their facility, this will allow all users seamless access to the my3touch online virtual repository through their existing client server solution account. So as well as been able to start and control a presentation on the local system across multiple screens and annotate over it or initiate IPTV or video on demand to any screen they will also be able to access their online my3touch account. The asynchronous client will ensure that the latest files are available to them. Again using 3touch Conference and File Manager ensures that users’ files follow them globally.

Access to the 3touch online digital signage network will be available through the portal, enabling them to upload, create and schedule, multi zoned digital signage content to any screen globally. Portrait or landscape screens are catered for as well as all file formats and screen resolutions. Combining this system with events and conferences allows event managers to get the best marketing utilization of all screens by using them for digital signage in between speakers and at lunch and coffee breaks. Of course companies can also manage their independent digital signage network from this portal as well.

The plan allows various levels of user access and functionality from the portal, allowing corporate clients to access their online room booking system which is fully compatible with Microsoft Exchange or Lotus and allows them to book rooms, people, audio visual equipment, catering and housekeeping from a single system. This feature can also allow video conference users to book and schedule endpoints, MCU’s, rooms, people and resources and automate the entire video conferencing process into one single unified solution.

A Key feature allows users and presenters to publish any or all information, notes, blogs and videos to the web and make the information accessible to delegates and student alike. This can be used as an e-learning, digital library, resource reference or simply an aid to delegates after a conference event to access speaker’s presentations & videos. Options will be available to limit access to certain users or to allow public access. Users will be able to create and add gadgets to their respective accounts.

This is only a glimpse at the planned functionality which 3touch will unveil over the coming months; www.my3touch.com is expected to come online in mid June 2008.
