Reach for Youth Completes Business901’s "Connect with Permission" Program

Reach for Youth received training in developing permission based marketing strategies and tactics particular to their organizational needs. This program enabled the organization to define their core message, identify their target market and ideal clients, and then develop their programs accordingly.

Indianapolis, IN, July 01, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Reach for Youth, Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is one of a growing group of Non-Profits selected to participate in the Business901’s Connect with Permission Program.

“The selection process was quite involved,” says Joe Dager, an authorized Duct Tape Marketing Coach. “To ensure the program’s success, I limited the scope of the initial offering to Nonprofits who excel in their particular discipline but who want to expand their own connection efforts.” “To say that we were honored to be chosen as a client is an understatement,” says Christopher Nunn, Reach for Youth Executive Director. “I realize that the competition for these spots is fierce, so I’m thrilled to be a client. Now the pressure will be on us to implement the strategy and tactics we learned and take our organization to the next level.”

Reach for Youth received training in developing permission based marketing strategies and tactics particular to their organizational needs. This program enabled the organization to define their core message, identify their target market and ideal clients, and then develop their programs accordingly. “The staff was very enthusiastic about this process. It gave them a step by step approach for developing their partners and relationships. It did not take the personal side away, it just answered the question, what should I do next?” said Dager. He also added: “We expanded this program to include several other staff members for the 12 week course. The realization that they could spread their message effectively through permission based marketing was a surprise to several of them.”

The development of a permission based system will provide consistent long-term growth. The 4 month program provides valuable material but the secret is implementing it along the way with a DTM coach. The uniqueness of this program is that it takes a proven system developed by Duct Tape Marketing author John Jantsch and combines it with an authorized DTM Coach, Joe Dager who has re-formatted the content for nonprofit use. "The principles are outlined in a 7-step process that will communicate the basic understanding on how to apply the Connect with Permission program. It offers several tips and tricks that will immediately jump-start a permission based marketing program," says Dager. This guide can be downloaded for a limited time at http://www.business401.com. About Reach For Youth
Reach for Youth's, http://www.reachforyouth.org, mission is to be a key community resource for families, schools, youth organizations, and the juvenile justice system creating opportunities for the youth of central Indiana.

Reach for Youth, Inc. was founded as the Southside Youth Council in 1974 by three MSD of Perry Township school counselors who saw a lack of services for at-risk youth on Indianapolis' south side. Their first program was the Volunteer Counselor Program which paired a caring adult volunteer with a youth at risk of suspension or expulsion from a Perry Township school.

Through their 34 year history, they have expanded services and service areas as needs called for and capacity allowed. Today, they serve approximately 1500 youth and their families each year with counseling services, including a specialized outpatient service for sexually maladaptive youth, and juvenile diversion services, including Teen Court and Restorative Justice Conferencing.
