Microsoft Grants Top Award to Directions Training Center

Directions Training Center, a company that offers computer training courses was recently awarded a top award from Microsoft. One of the company’s instructors, Gary Newman was also given a top instructor award.

Chicago, IL, September 23, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Directions Training Center, a computer training company, has just been granted a Top Event Management and Environment Award for 2008. The award, granted by Microsoft, was given to Directions for their Dynamics deliveries between July 2007 and June 2008.

Along with the Top Event Management and Environment Award, Directions instructor Gary Newman won the 2008 MCT Top Instructor Award. He was chosen based on his 9.0 MTM evaluation score for the Windows Server 2008 Partner Preparation that was delivered on April 1, 2008.

Directions Training Center provides Chicago Microsoft training classes in many different software systems. Some of their classes include basic, intermediate and advanced levels in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher, as well as classes in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. The company also offers classes on programming, maintaining servers, networking and nearly any other IT related topics.

In addition to their training classes, Directions also offers seminars on topics that affect IT careers. Some of the seminars offered include Women in IT, Green IT. They also offer continuing education classes and even accelerated training that the company calls 'boot camps' for people who need to get up to speed quickly. The company has locations in Chicago, Oak Brook, Park Ridge and Springfield, IL and can facilitate training in locations throughout the United States. A keen sense of civic duty is shared by the Directions team and as such, the company is actively involved in Sleep Out Saturday, a campaign to raise awareness on the problem of homelessness in DuPage County.
