Birth Year Brings Holiday Cheer at Knoxville Hotel

Knoxville, TN, November 06, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Christmas isn’t just for children anymore. To stimulate family values and togetherness during trying economic times, this holiday season (from November 23, 2008 through January 4, 2009), the new Quality Inn Merchants Drive in North Knoxville (exit 108 off I-75) is gifting seniors this holiday season. The room rate will be determined by the last two digits of the birth year of the oldest person in the room over 50. If you were born in 1923, your rate would be $23, no restrictions, last room availability. As an added bonus, hotel guests 90 years old or older will stay absolutely free. Guests must travel at least 50 miles from home to be eligible. In addition, the hotel will donate $2 for every night on the promotional rate (even the free nights) to the O’Connor Senior Center.

The Quality Inn Merchants Drive has been operated by A&M Hospitality since 2001 when it was the Hampton Inn North Knoxville. Two months ago, A&M completed construction of the new Hampton Inn & Suites which opened next door and then converted the original hotel to Quality Inn. “The hotel still has the same high standards of comfort, friendly service, and full hot breakfast as before,” said Weiner. “Many people don’t realize our rooms feature the famous luxurious Kingsdown mattress sold in fine furniture stores,” he added.
