Upcoming Running Movie to be Screened on March 8 at Washington DC’s Jack Morton Theater
Los Angeles, CA, March 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Beginning their epic journey in February 2000, Serge Roetheli ran across six continents, through 37 countries, with his wife, Nicole, acting as sole crew support following behind him, at an average of 7 ½ mph, on a Yamaha motorcycle and filming every step. Now, their adventure as been made into a documentary reality film.

A free special screening of Beyond the Epic Run takes place at Georgetown Washington University’s Jack Morton Auditorium on Sunday, March 8 at 5 p.m. Admission is free. Producer/Director Thomas Sammon will be present to introduce the film and lead a post-screening Q & A.

According to Serge, I ran to be free, to help the children in suffering parts of the world and to have an incredible journey. I hope that people will take away from the film that nothing is impossible as long as you are willing to the pay the price for your dream, he said.

Beyond the Epic Run is a feature length documentary reality film about a Swiss couple who live their dream to run around the world. Together, Serge and Nicole Roethelis epic adventure lead them out of Europe, through Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the United States, testing their boundaries, strengthening their minds and challenging their bodies. Using their personal camera, they captured footage used in this film. Excerpts from Nicole’s personal diary reveal their experiences, adventures and accomplishments throughout their journey.
