A "Rock n Roll Family Show" is Heading to the Middle East to Celebrate Labor Day with Our Troops
Rock ‘n’ Roll is heading to the Middle East, Party Animal Style, with two performances of an Armed Forces Entertainment Tour specifically designed for the families of our troops. The Party Animals Live gives the elementary-school set a rockin’ good time with an edgy beat, kid-friendly lyrics and a live interactive show in celebration of Labor Day in Bahrain.
Los Angeles, CA, August 31, 2009 --(PR.com)-- A “Rock n Roll Family Show” is heading to the Middle East to celebrate Labor Day with our Troops.
Rock ‘n’ Roll is heading to the Middle East, Party Animal Style, with two performances of an Armed Forces Entertainment Tour specifically designed for the families of our troops. The Party Animals Live gives the elementary-school set a rockin’ good time with an edgy beat, kid-friendly lyrics and a live interactive show in celebration of Labor Day in Bahrain.
The Party Animals Live will be donating their services beginning September 3, 2009 traveling to Bahrain in the Middle East for another Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) tour. Once again AFE is saying “thank you” to a very specific group of the military that is often times forgotten: The Children. In 2004 dependents for military and Defense Department personnel were ordered by The Pentagon out of Bahrain amid the threat of Al Qaida attack. Now, starting in June of 2009 dependents are invited back to live. This is a very good sign of security and stability in that region. In celebration of this fact, this Labor Day weekend, The Party Animals Live will take its festive brand of children entertainment to the military families stationed in Bahrain. The Party Animals Live is a “one stop shop” in providing children entertainment and will be throwing two huge bashes, September 5 and 6 in conjunction with this event.
The show starts as soon as you get to the venue. Concert goers are invited to arrive early to enjoy face painting, magic, balloon animals, stilt walkers and more at The Party Animals Pre-Show Festivities. Then The Party Animals take the stage for a high-energy concert the whole family can enjoy with interactive songs and dances that maintain the party from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave.
The Party Animals are no strangers to entertaining the troops and their families. They teamed up with AFE in Fall 2007 and traveled to Europe for twelve performances in five countries. After getting back home to California, The Party Animals teamed up with the Navy and MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) and performed on military bases in San Diego, Ventura, and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. In April 2009, they performed at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in celebration of Month of the Military Child.
The Party Animals don makeup and accessories to create their onstage personas: Kaiya the Kangaroo, keyboard and lead vocals; Walter the Fox, lead guitar and vocals; Brandon the Bear, bass guitar; and Lance the Lion, drums. Together, they sing and dance to original music written by Phil X and Ninette Terhart from the rock band “Powder.” Phil X can also be heard as a session guitarist on albums for Daughtry, Kelly Clarkson, and Tommy Lee to name just a few.
The Party Animals were created to fill the entertainment need of the youngest rock ‘n’ roll fans, two to eight years old, who enjoy the adult sound but deserve kid-friendly lyrics. According to The Party Animals founder, Mark Allen Ruegg, “Kids love listening to adult music for the beat, but often you’ll hear a preschooler singing Pussycat Dolls’ or Eminem’s lyrics that aren’t really appropriate for children. We’ve created a rhythm that’s hip and now, with lyrics that are appropriate for kids of all ages.” This show isn’t just for the kids though. The Party Animals perform rock ‘n’ roll for the whole family and encourage all parents to come and rock out with their kids.
Armed Forces Entertainment is the lead Department of Defense agency for providing entertainment to U.S. military personnel serving overseas, with priority given to those in contingency operations and at remote and isolated locations. The Department of the Air Force is the executive agent of Armed Forces Entertainment.
