Annapolis artist Greg Harlin agrees to release 15 prints of each watercolor from the book We The People.

Annapolis, MD, November 05, 2009 --(PR.com)-- www.AnnapolisCollection.com - The Annapolis Collection Gallery announced the release of eight of fifteen vibrant watercolors by Annapolis artist Greg Harlin that he painted for Lynn Chenney's latest historical book for young adults, entitled "We The People: The Story of Our Constitution."

Harlin has also signed and numbered his selection of a limited set of 15 prints for each of his original "We The People" watercolors. This collection of his limited edition prints are now available online. Additional works by Harlin will exhibit Nov 15 - Dec 2 in downtown historic Annapolis at the Annapolis Collection Gallery, 45 West Street, Annapolis, Md. A reception for the artist will be held Sunday, November 15 from 4 to 7pm.

Greg Harlin is a acclaimed artist who has provided art for several young adult books including "Dangerous Crossing, the Revolutionary Voyage of John Quincy Adams," Paul Revere's Midnight Ride," "Mississippi", and "Haunkkah at Valley Forge" which won the 2007 Sydney Taylor Book Award. He has spent much of his 28 years as an artist recreating history through his paintings. His work has appeared in National Geographic, Smithsonian, Kids Discover, and U.S. News and World Report. His paintings can be seen in museum exhibits, most notable the Chicago Field Museum, and Smithsonian Air & Space, and in national park exhibits, including the Grand Canyon, Manassas Battlefield, Pompey's Pillar/Lewis & Clark Trail, and also the Lincoln Memorial visitors center.

The Annapolis Collection Gallery is devoted to six Annapolis masers, including Greg Harlin. Each artist resides in Annapolis and has achieved recognition for their talents, both here and abroad. Special gallery events are held throughout the year to focus on new works by each of the six individual artists. The gallery is located in historic Annapolis at 45 West Street; one block from Church Circle and four doors from the Rams Head Tavern.
