Living With Macular Degeneration

Living With Macular Degeneration
Henderson, NV, September 10, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Liz Trauernicht, Director of the Macular Degeneration Foundation, and the Houston Low Vision Club will host a public discussion on the topic "Living with Macular Degeneration" at three locations in Houston during September.

According to Mrs. Trauernicht, "As the leading cause of vision loss among senior citizens, the "Baby Boomer" generation is beginning to feel the affects of this disease and have many questions. We post the latest information on our website and take thousands of telephone calls each year from anxious victims and their families, but nothing equals the experience of talking face-to-face with the people we serve."

In addition to reviewing the early signs of Macular Degeneration, diet recommendations and promising research, Liz will focus on the ways others are coping effectively with the loss of their central vision.
