BTF Solutions Supports Planning Efforts for Global Initial Outfitting and Transition Program

BTF Solutions is one of five firms selected to provide outfitting and transition services for the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville’s global Initial Outfitting and Transition Program. The program provides support services for construction and renovation projects for the U.S. Army Medical Department.

Dallas, TX, October 01, 2010 --(PR.com)-- BTF Solutions, a Joint Venture, recently received notification that it is one of five firms selected to provide outfitting and transition services for the U.S. Army Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville’s global Initial Outfitting and Transition Program. The program provides support services for construction and renovation projects for the U.S. Army Medical Department. U.S. Army Medical Department facilities provide high quality healthcare for servicemen and women at military installations nationwide and overseas.

Under the program, BTF Solutions received the first Program task order award for planning the provisioning of all medical and non-medical equipment for a new, 34,000-square-foot U.S. Army consolidated medical and dental clinic at Fort Lee, Virginia.

Planning for the transition to the new Fort Lee Dental and Medical Clinic began in August, and the clinic is expected to open its doors to staff and patients by September 1, 2011.

Individual BTF Solutions Joint Venture member firms are currently providing outfitting and transition services for the Battlefield Health and Trauma Research Institute, San Antonio Military Medical Center, and Medical Education and Training Campus facilities in San Antonio, Texas, as directed by the 2005 Base Realignment and Closure legislation.
