)-- Global online advertising network, CPX Interactive
has announced the formation of a revamped Board of Directors made up of the company’s two highest-ranking officers and three former Advisors to the company. Andrew B. Rosengard, Robert F. Hussey and Moritz Wuttke are industry veterans and career entrepreneurs in the online and traditional media fields that now join CEO, Mike Seiman and President & COO, Rob Rasko as Directors.
The move comes at a time when the company has entered a new era of corporate and business development partnerships, has acquired a real credit facility and expects to pick up the pace on those types of high level transactions in the coming months.
Andrew B. Rosengard is currently CEO of Rosengard & Associates, Inc., an advisory and consulting firm specializing in media, entertainment, cable television and sports industries. From 1986 to 2004, Andrew served as EVP of Finance, SVP/Controller at Cablevision Systems Corporation, and as SVP/Finance of subsidiary Rainbow Media Holdings. During that time, the company grew from $500 million to over $5 billion in revenue and from $600 million to over $9 billion in market capitalization. During his career, Andrew led or staffed in excess of $20 billion of M&A and operations transactions, and helped to manage in excess of $10 billion in debt and preferred financings.
Robert F. Hussey is a seasoned financial, marketing and operations executive in sectors including packaged goods, financial services and advertising. In recent years, Bob has focused on advising private equity and institutional investors in these industries and in special situations. Among his accomplishments are the founding, NASDAQ IPO and ultimate sale to News Corp (1991) of POP Radio Corp, which, under Bob's leadership, became the country's largest direct broadcast satellite (DBS) network. Bob received his MBA from George Washington University and currently serves on the Board of Regents of Georgetown University, where he received his undergraduate degree.
Moritz Wuttke is currently the COO of one the world’s largest providers of digitally delivered advertising (TV, Radio, Print), Adstream, London. For much of his career Moritz worked for PubliGroupe in numerous capacities including: CEO/Asia & China, Chairman/Shanghai and member of the Executive Management Group/Switzerland. Moritz is a veteran of the online media industry, serving on the boards of several Internet and media companies including NASDAQ listed, 24/7Realmedia.
“The three newest members of our Board bring significant experience, talent and connections in a diverse range of disciplines, yet each still retains an entrepreneurial zeal that will complement our outstanding management team as we look to take the next step in our own evolution as a global company,” explains President/COO, Rob Rasko. “Over the last year, we have relied heavily on the insights these gentlemen brought to the table as Advisors. We felt now was the time to make their role in the future of our company more defined and permanent.”
CEO, Mike Seiman, adds, “This group has significant experience with public companies, working closely with boards as high level execs at their own companies. They bring decades of senior operational experience in dealing with complicated audit, compensation, ethical, M&A and governance issues. These are all pieces of the puzzle that will help us get where we need to be in 2011 and beyond.”
