Casa Décor to Host “Surreal4Real” Charity Gala Benefiting Haven Hills, Inc and the Little Princess Foundation
An evening of fundraising and entertainment featuring an awards ceremony "Real Men Give Back," recognizing men in the community and in the world of sports and entertainment for their philanthropic contributions. Honorees include Jamie Foxx, Mark Jackson, Ed Roche, Peter Byrne Assemblyman Mike Davis, Russell Whittenburg, Shawn Marion and Boris Kodjoe.
Los Angeles, CA, May 24, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Casa Décor is pleased to announce “Surreal4Real” an exciting and opulent evening of fundraising and entertainment benefiting The Little Princess Foundation and Haven Hills, Inc. The event will be held June 2, 2011 from 8:00p.m. to 12:00a.m., at the luxurious Vibiana. The venue boasts 130 years of rich Los Angeles history, 35,000 sq. ft of luxury space, baroque inspired interiors and lush gardens all in the heart of downtown Los Angeles. Sponsors include Baron Fleming and Rolls Royce of Beverly Hills, Verizon Wireless Hopeline® and Angeleno Magazine. The goal is to raise funds to revamp and makeover Haven Hills, Inc.’s Education Center and their Family & Counseling Room and to secure a facility in California for the Little Princess Foundation, which is currently operating within the public school districts.
Additionally, Casa Décor has partnered with the Verizon Wireless Hopeline® initiative where guests are encouraged to donate their no-longer-used cell phones from any carrier. Verizon will refurbish the phones and put them into service, coded with special emergency numbers and donated to domestic violence victims.
The event will feature an exciting awards ceremony titled “Real Men Give Back,” honoring Oscar Award winning actor Jamie Foxx, NBA legend and Lead Sports Analyst Mark Jackson, and Changing Lives activist Ed Roche, renowned Conservationist Peter Byrne, NBA Legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Assemblyman Mike Davis and Financial Executive and West side Community Leader Russell Whittenburg, Dallas Mavericks starting Power Forward, Shawn Marion and actor Boris Kodjoe for their philanthropic contributions. Guests will enjoy cocktail fête, live entertainment and an opportunity to bid in the live auction featuring exclusive, rare art pieces, Metallurgical Petty: over-sized in scale, stainless steel and bronze original cast sculptures by renowned Chinese artist Yao Yuan, Picassos, and a one-of-a-kind piece, “Forever Goodbye” by Lucy Liu.
