Issaquah, WA, April 11, 2007 --(PR.com)-- “It’s A Wrap!” say producers Jim & Kelly Watt after nearly 5 years of filming the 51 hour, award winning HD series, “Discoveries…America,” Location production came to an end in late March with a week of pickup shooting in Oregon. Editing on the remaining 2 episodes will complete the series in June 2007.

“Discoveries…America,” described by many as the most comprehensive High Definition series ever produced, is a collection of video essays with content of each show defined by the unique aspects of a particular state. The purpose of the series is to provide a “fresh, new look” at the people, activities and landscapes that make up the USA. “We are filming every type of location and subject imaginable from bucking broncos, white water rafting and hot air ballooning to fields of Tulips, native rug weaving, small town parades and chili cook-offs, profiles on ranchers, rangers, commercial fisherman, guides, artists, and lots of local personalities," producer Jim Watt says. “This series really allows us to showcase the depth of visual imagery that High Definition video can provide. Surveys have found that the typical news magazine content of network magazine shows, generally focus on bad news…this series, is a collection of “good news” stories."
