New Business Opens in the Village of Lynwood
Lynwood, IL, July 31, 2012 --(PR.com)-- The village of Lynwood is home to a new electronic recycling center. Lynwood Recycling is offering free pick-up or you can drop off electronics at there location: 21540 Lincoln Highway Lynwood, IL 708-757-7300.
Lynwood Recycling Center caters to individuals as well as businesses and will recycle your end of life computers, audio players, telecom systems, digital converter box, DVD/VHS players, computer keyboards, printers and more.
The beginning of 2012 brought a revision to the Electronic Products Recycle and Refuse Act making it illegal to throw electronics in the garbage or placing them by the curb. Garbage haulers are suppose to tag the item and leave it by the curb or you could face a $25 fine.
The improper disposal of end of life electronics threatens our environment and fills our landfills. By properly recycling electronics we can reduce the amount of damage to our natural resources.
