VersaSuite Attains CCHIT Enterprise Certification
VersaSuite 8.0 is the only single product to earn the advanced level Enterprise Certification after achieving the prerequisite Inpatient, Ambulatory and Emergency Department Certifications.

On the heels of its recent achievement of the CCHIT Emergency Department certification, VersaSuite has now met the CCHIT’s demanding set of criteria designed to simulate the requirements of diverse Enterprise environments.
The CCHIT Certified® 2011 certification programs include a complete inspection of integrated EHR functionality, interoperability, and security according to criteria independently developed by the CCHIT's multi-stakeholder, expert work groups using CCHIT's published testing methods.
The CCHIT Enterprise Certification requires a vendor to demonstrate:
- Data entered through the standard Inpatient, Ambulatory or Emergency Department workflow is accessible through the entire enterprise
- Information entered in different parts of the Enterprise is kept in sync without reentry of data
- The ability to support the functionality needed by all parts of the Enterprise
For example, a patient seen in the emergency department has clinical information follow them to both inpatient admission and follow-up ambulatory care facilitating true data continuity.
