Mona R. Meyers attended the University of Southern California before returning home to assist her sick father. She earned her bachelor's in accounting from Southern Illinois University before moving with her mother and younger sister back to California after the death of her father. She is married to her high school sweetheart who is now a retired United States Naval Officer. Meyers has worked as a mortgage loan consultant for over 18 years and is a member of the President's Club. When her husband was deployed for six months, her mother moved in with them to help take care of Meyers' son.
