Research Triangle Park, NC, April 09, 2013 --(PR.com
)-- Dr. Michael J. Klepper, global expert, author, and consultant in drug safety and pharmacovigilance for over 25 years, will conduct two new interactive training sessions, one webinar and one local workshop, for those involved with clinical drug development. These training sessions are designed to delve into the details and to answer specific questions regarding drug safety that are often overlooked by other seminars.
As Drug Safety Navigator LLC Founder & President, Dr. Mike Klepper, frequently says, “The proper training and transference of pharmacovigilance knowledge should be the primary goals for all of us with years of on-the-job training and experience. As a medical student, I learned the old axiom – see one, do one, teach one and I feel it is my responsibility to share my knowledge with others.”
The first training opportunity is an hour-long webinar, sponsored by Biomedical Systems, on April 23rd, 2013 at 11:00 AM EST. This interactive webinar titled: “Safety Assessment of Electrocardiographic and Blood Pressure Data in clinical trials” will focus on interpreting clinical significance of data collected with risk minimization strategies in mind. The second training session sponsored by Drug Safety Navigator LLC will be held at First Flight Venture Center in Research Triangle Park, NC on May 15th, 2013. This Lunch & Learn will be the first of a series of local drug safety training workshops conducted by Dr. Mike Klepper. The topic, “The Often Misunderstood Analysis of Similar Events (AOSE): How to Transform into an Important Signaling Tool” will identify the true intent of the report and provide real world examples and best practice for anyone involved in drug development or wants to learn about it.
