PR.com)-- Asian Pacific Women’s Center: 11th Annual Metamorphosis Gala.
Honoring US Bank, Change A Life Foundation, and Jin Kim.
The Asian Pacific Women’s Center (APWC) hosted their 11th Annual Metamorphosis Gala on Wednesday, May 22 at 6:00pm. The event which was held at the Walt Disney Hall in Downtown Los Angeles, is the primary fundraising event for APWC, a nonprofit agency and shelter serving women and children who are survivors of domestic violence, to honor their community supporters and raise funds for their continued work.
An evening filled with live music provided by singer-songwriter Jane Lui, delicious food, dessert and refreshments catered from Patina. In attendance, honorary guest District Attorney Jackie Lacey delivered a powerful and moving speech captivating the entire audience. Later in the evening, Jackie Lacey was presented an award by APWC. Throughout the night, guest enjoyed and participated in silent auction provided by numerous generous supporters of APWC.
The 11th Annual Metamorphosis Gala was a great opportunity for APWC to share their mission and honor their community supporters. Honorees for the evening included U.S. Bank, Outstanding Corporate Partner; Change A Life Foundation, Outstanding Community Partner; and Jin Kim, Outstanding Volunteer
