Once in a Lifetime Experiences Auctioned for Children's Charity

Las Vegas philanthropist Chuck Brennan brings celebrity rock & roll friends together to help children's music program.

Once in a Lifetime Experiences Auctioned for Children's Charity
Las Vegas, NV, November 27, 2013 --(PR.com)-- One of Southern Nevada’s largest individual philanthropists is at it again. Chuck Brennan, founder of the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy and CEO of Dollar Loan Center, has collaborated with his celebrity friends to raise money for children’s music education with ten once-in-a-lifetime experiences available for public bidding.

Brennan is currently organizing “THE Fundraiser,” a charity concert being held Thursday, December 5 at the Orleans Arena. The unique concert will feature one house band and dozens of rock & roll’s most revered artists. And instead of a traditional benefit-style silent auction, Brennan is bringing opportunities for unique rock & roll experiences and charitable giving to the public with ten packages he put together with some help from his famous friends.

“Most charity functions and galas include an auction with items donated by patrons to raise additional money for the organization,” said Brennan, who also arranged a highly successful auction for St. Rose Hospitals’ charitable foundation that raised hundreds of thousands for the organization. “This gives the public an opportunity to be a rock star and support children’s music education at the same time. You will never see opportunities like these again and I am truly grateful to these rock & roll icons for their donations.”

From now through 12 p.m. EST on December 5, ten rock & roll experiences will be available for bidding at http://www.charitybuzz.com/support/2218. They include opportunities to meet artists like Slash and Rob Zombie, private concerts for up to 500 people with Vince Neil, Warrant and RATT or a round of golf and backstage concert experience with Alice Cooper, a longtime supporter of the academy. “You can even join Twisted Sister on stage at a concert,” said Brennan.

Three packages available for bid have already raised a combined $44,000. “The four incredible members of KISS have supported the academy since its inception and are among the most charitable people I have the honor of knowing,” said Brennan. The experiences include a hang with KISS co-founder Paul Stanley in the ‘Ultimate Sports Experience’ with courtside Lakers seats, lunch with Stanley himself and an autographed guitar. Another, dubbed the ‘Gene Simmons Experience’ includes a tour of Simmons’ home and extensive KISS memorabilia collection, dinner with Simmons and one of Simmons’ autographed guitars. “The band has even gone so far as to offer an opportunity to become a member of their entourage on two back-to-back shows during their 40th anniversary tour,” said Brennan. “This alone has already raised $22,000 in bids for the academy.”

All of THE Fundraiser auction items come with tickets to the concert on December 5. THE Fundraiser features Alice Cooper and starts at 8:30 p.m. on December 5th at Orleans Arena, along with some of the greatest Rock & Roll front-men of all time. Joining Cooper will be rock & roll legends Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer of KISS, Vince Neil, Rob Zombie, Dee Snider, Stephen Pearcy, Tom Keifer, Jack Blades, Joey Tempest, and Kip Winger.

Tickets are on sale now. Information on how to donate or purchase tickets is available at www.brraevents.com or by calling 702-947-4388. Tickets can also be purchased at OrleansArena.com, at all Boyd Box Office locations, Town Square mall or by calling 888-234-2334.

THE Fundraiser will benefit the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy and the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire. Brennan founded and developed the Boys & Girls Clubs’ first-ever free music program for its students. The first Brennan Rock & Roll Academy opened this spring in his hometown of Sioux Falls, South Dakota where he grew up as a member of the formerly named “Boys Club.”

Brennan hopes to raise $1 million at THE Fundraiser and said every penny goes directly to the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Sioux Empire and Brennan Rock & Roll Academy. He has helped raise more than $1.8 million so far and said $3.6 million is needed to pay off the first facility in Sioux Falls to get started on future academies in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Brennan is a philanthropist who regularly contributes to organizations throughout the country. He is especially generous in Southern Nevada, where he is a major donor to Opportunity Village and Henderson Little League along with dozens of other non-profits.

“My vision is to have a Brennan Rock & Roll Academy in every major city in the US within the next 20 years,” said Brennan. “We gave more than 600 lessons just last month, completely free of charge to the Boys and Girls Clubs members. This program has already started changing lives.”
