Round Rock, TX, October 15, 2014 --(PR.com)-- The Texas Self Storage Association (TSSA) is holding its annual conference on October 26- 28 in Fort Worth. The education sessions will be held at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Scott Klososky is the opening session keynote speaker. Klososky is a thought leader, author, and entrepreneur who helps organizations position themselves to win in the market. Klososky is simply not happy unless he is shaking up the way people think about technology, leadership, and how both are impacting the world. He has tackled these subjects in books such as: The Velocity Manifesto: Harnessing Technology, Vision, and Culture to future proof your organization, Enterprise Social Technologies: Helping Organizations Harness the Power of Social Media, Social Networking, Social Relevancy, and Managing with Social Technology. Dean Jernigan, former CEO of CubeSmart and Storage USA, is the closing session speaker and will share his best advice on the things that he wishes someone would have told him before he started out on his 30-year self-storage journey.

The conference kicks off on Sunday, October 26 with a charity Texas Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament benefiting the Shriners Hospital for Children in Galveston. A charity live and silent auction continues throughout the conference. This is the thirteenth year of TSSA’s involvement with the hospital having raised more than half a million dollars on behalf of the organization since 2001.

Education sessions start on Monday, October 27 and will address consolidation trends, emerging technology, operations and management for both large-and-small operators, sales and marketing. The lineup of speakers and special presentations has been selected to provide information to those new to the industry as well as veteran operators.

The trade show features more than 100 of the top industry suppliers and vendors. The trade show is open to the public, for a nominal fee, on Tuesday, October 28 from noon to 4:00 PM.
