Murrieta, CA, February 21, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Sonny Starr, LLC is a limited liability company that was established in 2014, by two people who are in their twenties, Kayla Starr Watson and Clyde “Sonny” Dell Hayes, III. Sonny Starr, LLC has formed in affiliation with the Sarcoidosis Network Foundation (SNF) to combat the disease, sarcoidosis.

Watson and Hayes’ platform is to publish books, music and art to name a few. The company has two main goals that are very important to them: One, to help find a cure for a very little known disease, called sarcoidosis, by giving researchers a percentage of proceeds from the books that are published by Sonny Starr. Their other goal, is to help urban kids and young adults, ages 14 and up, who do not have the financial means to fulfill their dreams, in the world of publishing books, music and art, again, by using proceeds from the books that their company publish.

Kayla, 24, and Co-CEO, is an artist who writes and sings her own songs, “There are so many people who suffer from sarcoidosis. Most people are not even aware that they have this disease that attacks the organs. My mom had it and was fortunate to get a bi-lateral lung transplant, or else she would have died. Fortunately, for my mom (and me) she worked and had great healthcare benefits, but, what about those who are not as fortunate? Who will help them?”

Clyde, 22, and Co-CEO, received his Associates Arts degree in Fine Arts, “Today if you visit SNF’s website or the Foundation for Sarcoidosis website, you will see that this disease, sarcoidosis, initially, was attacking a high volume of African Americans, especially women, currently, is attacking more Latinos, especially the males and other minority groups. What we would like to know... how is it that for some races, sarcoidosis can be treated as mildly as a common cold, but for others, this mysterious disease can cause death for them? This is why we need to pour more money into research to stop this killer disease in its tracks.”

Sonny Starr, LLC, launches its publishing division, Sonny Starr Publish, based in Murrieta, California, featuring its new fantasy book, Destiny, written by the author, Miss Jazzy. The company’s first novel of the Destiny series is scheduled to be released in the spring of 2015.

“When I first read this compelling story about Hazel, a young girl living in a modern world, who finds out that she has superpowers, not only does she have to create the Sword of Light in order to avenge the death of her loved ones, but she also has to conquer obstacles dealing with love and betrayal. The fact that Hazel has to accept her destiny in order to get through these ordeals, I thought, this book was too good to be true, on several counts: One, the book was written by a very young, talented and aspiring author from Long Beach, California, who fits perfectly with Sonny Starr’s platform of wanting to 'help' young people get a start in this vast world of publishing. Secondly, the story line is one that young adults can relate to, I know I did. At $16.99 per book, pre-sales for 'Destiny,' are already hitting the roof!” states the petite and upbeat singer, Kayla, who also uses her EP sells and job paychecks to support their company, as well as to support SNF. Sonny Starr, LLC offers a wide variety of services, from publishing books, organizing conferences, to printing services, etc.

“We were fortunate to find the author, of 'Destiny' Miss Jazzy, who is twenty-years old and has a good head on her shoulders. Miss Jazzy is a college student majoring in Marketing with a minor in Spanish. Her passion is writing and video gaming. Miss Jazzy’s spontaneity with our innovative ideas for this publishing company is a perfect fit. I’ll just say that I have a feeling people will be hearing more positive things from Sonny Starr because we are building our stable,” states the 6’4” Mr. Hayes.
