Milwaukee, WI, June 18, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- On Saturday, June 6, 2015, the internationally-acclaimed rock band, Apocalyptica, dined at Five O'Clock Steakhouse prior to their near sold-out show at The Rave/Eagles Club in Milwaukee.
The band, known for their classical-style heavy metal covers, were in town to promote their new album "Shadowmaker."
According to Stelio Kalkounos, Managing Partner of Five O'Clock Steakhouse, the band enjoyed dinner, drinks and engaged him in spirited conversation ranging from classical music greats to politics. They were particularly interested in the nearly 100 year history of the Five O'Clock Steakhouse building, and some of the supernatural lore associated with the site.
The band also purchased tickets for the entire Five O'Clock staff, treating them to special backstage access at the show later that night.
"I was impressed with their generosity and humility," said Stelio Kalkounos. "I've met many rock stars and celebrities over the years, but the guys from Apocalyptica were truly gentlemen. They offered to buy tickets for all the employees and treated the staff very generously. They loved the 'old school' vibe of Five O'Clock and of course our steak!"
In 2013, The Alley Cat Lounge at Five O'Clock Steakhouse opened as a live music and event venue, attracting top local and national acts. The events schedule can be found online at www.fiveoclocksteakhouse.com.
