Convoy of Hope to Host Chicago Day of Hope

Today over 10,000 guests of honor were served by Convoy of Hope, City of Chicago and 1900 volunteers at Marquette Park in Chicago.

Chicago, IL, August 22, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Today over 10,000 guests of honor were served by Convoy of Hope, City of Chicago and 1900 volunteers at Marquette Park in Chicago. Each Guest of Honor received hundreds of dollars of products and services free. Including:

• 15,000 Hot Lunches Served
• 9,900 Bags of Groceries
• 8,000 Received Medical Services
• 6,000 Pairs of New Shoes
• 3,300 Backpacks with Schools Supplies
• 1,500 Kids Served Organic Health Drinks
• 1,000 Received Dental Services
• 450 Haircuts
• 300 Immunizations
• 275 Family Portraits

Why: To provide resources to families in need in the Chicago area and to strengthen the sense of community.
Who: Convoy of Hope, the city of Chicago and local organizations.
