"Safety for Sarah" Invites Film and TV Production Sets to Join in a Moment of Silence
Los Angeles, CA, February 16, 2016 --(PR.com)-- February 20th, 2016 marks the second anniversary of the death of Sarah Jones, a camera assistant who was killed on the set of the independent film "Midnight Rider." In memory of Sarah’s death and the horrific aftermath, the Sarah Jones Film Foundation invites production casts and crews from around the globe to join together for a Moment of Silence during the days leading up to February 20th.

"Safety For Sarah" is open to all film, television and commercial productions to commemorate their moment of silence by posting a photo(s) on the "Safety For Sarah" Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SafetyForSarah/), Twitter @slatesforsarah or Instagram with #safetyforsarah.

"Safety for Sarah" urges and reminds filmmakers to be aware that if something doesn’t look right, say something. Richard Jones, Sarah’s father, wants the moment to bring attention so that we never forget what happened to Sarah when safety was pushed aside and to never again let it happen to another daughter, son, or anyone.

In addition to the annual "moment of silence" event, the Sarah Jones Film Foundation has several yearlong programs including:

End Credits program
Education
Communication and outreach
