The Heart Walk serves as the AHA's premiere event for raising funds to save lives from this country's No. 1 and No. 5 killers – heart disease and stroke. It is designed to promote physical activity and healthy living, creating a rewarding, fun-filled environment where co-workers, friends and family members can work together to promote awareness for cardiovascular disease (CVD) and help save lives.
Funds raised from the Heart Walk support projects such as:
· Pediatric heart disease and stroke research
· Providing up-to-the-minute heart disease and stroke research to doctors and other medical professionals
· Delivering life-saving information to those who need it most
Join SureFire CPR to participate in the 35th Annual Heart Walk to raise awareness for heart disease and stroke. Adults, kids and pets can participate in the Heart Walk, and registration is free.
The 35th Annual Heart Walk takes place March 5 at 9 a.m. at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.
